Lamont Meaux

Chambers County Governor’s Appointee 

Lamont Meaux was appointed to the GCA Board of Directors in January 2008.

Meaux earned his BS in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.  He is owner and president of Seabreeze Culvert, Seabreeze Chemical, and Seabreeze Farm.

He is a member of the Winnie Chamber of Commerce, Society of Professional Engineers, Texas Farm Bureau, and Corps of Cadets Association at Texas A&M University (TAMU). Additionally, he is master chairman for the Beaumont A&M Club, board member of the East Chambers Agricultural Historical Society, and committee member of the Regional Advisory Council of the General Land Office.

Meaux is a past member of the American Rice Growers Association, American Soybean Association and American Rice Growers Exchange.  He is a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.

Lamont Meaux resides in Stowell, Texas.
