Ron L. Crowder

Ron Crowder  was appointed to the GCA Board of Directors in 1999.  

Crowder is currently a Licensed Funeral Director and Secretary/Treasurer for James Crowder Funeral Home. His business affiliates include Crowder Investments Inc., Crowder Holdings Inc., W.C.J. Corp. Inc., Rifle Transportation Inc., and Remschel-Crowder Partnership. 

His current organizational memberships include President of LaMarque Industrial Development Corp. Inc., member of Space Center Rotary, Clear Lake Area Economic Development, and Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member of E. A. Smith Y.M.C.A.

His past accomplishments include Mayor of La Marque from 1979-1983 and Commissioner for Galveston County from 1985-1989.
